Cantigny by Day and Night

Last week we had some beautiful days and we thought we better take advantage of these last few nice days. So on Wednesday we went to Cantigny. Then on Thursday we went there because they had a special event at night in honor of Veterans' Day.
I know I couldn't believe Grammy climbed on the tank either. (although it was one of the smaller ones)
Mr. Matthew

He still gets into putting his hands in his pockets.

Okay, so when I tried to take a picture of all the lighted bags this is how it turned out. There were 2,200 lighted bags I believe and each represented 6 1st division army soldiers that have passed away since the Civil War.

Alright so I didn't take this picture but this is what I was trying to capture. It was really neat looking and you could walk among the rows. We were thinking it was supposed to look like Arlington National Cemetery.
Miss Molly enjoying the lighted bags.

Obviously, Matthew thought it was cool looking.

Getting down from one of those big tanks.

This one I used the flash for. The number 1 represents the 1st division of the army.

Keep Your Head Up

Take a look at how good Molly holds her head up. We love tummy time. Here she doesn't even have the extra pillow we use for tummy time.

All Smiles

We have lots of smiles in our house, here are a few recent ones.

Molly as the Alien from Toy Story, I guess she thinks its pretty funny.

Paging Dr. Matthew

Matthew is making Daddy all better. Grant calls him Harry Potter in these glasses.

Mommy, do you like my moustache?

If these words are ever uttered to you, you know you are in trouble.

Molly at 2 months

Molly had her two month check up today and she is doing great. The doctor said she's perfect. She had to get three shots so that was very fun for us but she was a trooper. Grant actually got a shot too, he got his flu shot. Special note: All of you should get your flu shot especially if you plan to hang around Molly. Some new updates on her are she can hold her head up pretty well when laying on her tummy, she smiles a lot, she likes to coo, and she loves her hands. Here are her 2 month stats:

Weight: 11 pounds 5 ounces (Matthew 12 pounds 2 ounces) I forgot to get percentiles but Matthew was at 75% for his weight. So I'm guessing she's around 50%.

Height: 23 3/4 inches (Matthew 24 inches) He was at 95% for his height so I'm guessing she's around 85-90&
So she grew an inch and 3/4 and gained about 2 pounds.

Molly's Christening

This past Sunday was Molly's Baptism. She had an incredibly beautiful dress that was made by a family friend. I wish I could be as talented and make something so gorgeous. The pictures really don't do it justice, we even had a few family members from the other babies who were being baptized comment on her dress to me. Here are a few pictures of Miss Molly in her dress and from her Baptism. I'm sure I'll have more pictures to follow, these are just the ones from our camera.

She looks angelic in this picture with the way she has her hands.

She is a happy little girl.

Matthew & Molly (I like how he has his finger in her hand)

She did a great job, she didn't even cry. For those of you who were at Matthew's Baptism, he cried the entire time, so this was a welcome change.

A Few More Costume Pictures

Obviously she felt since she was a pea in the pod she should try how the peas tasted.

She seems to like her costume.
