Arboretum

They have some new art work that is incorporated into the grounds of the arboretum. Here is Matthew under a tree that is coming out of a wall.

Legoland

Last week we went to Lego land and had such a great day. We rode the dragon ride only once, the other ride 3 times, watched all 3 4-D Lego movies, saw how lego bricks are made, learned how to build the Sears Tower, played in the jungle gym, and of course built with Legos. Matthew made friends with 3 ten or twelve year old girls in the jungle gym. I looked over at him and he was sitting on their laps and they were tickling him. I guess he's a ladies man.

Miss Molly crawling towards me, she is always on the move now.

On occasion she crawls in a unique way, with her but up in the air and kind of walks on her back legs.

We got out the ball pit again, yeah what fun.

We got out some of Matthew's old baby toys recently so Molly has some new toys to play with. (Well, Matthew has new ones as well).

With all the nice weather we of course had to spend some time outside. Here are kids enjoying are swing set.
She loved being pushed by him.

She dragged the basket by her, flipped it, then climbed in.

She was quite proud.

Matthew showing off his newest purchase. Well, actually we split it with him but he did buy half. He has wanted one for a while. He picked out the rocks, the 3 fish, a snail, a small plant, and a little decoration.

He is very excited. (Luckily, there is a 14 day guarantee with the fish).

There names are Wario (the yellow one), Super Mario (snail), Luigi (orange and black with lots of spots on tail, Bowser (orange and black). His tank has a light and everything so he can see it when he's in his room at night for bed. He's already fed them once and was very proud. I then took the food and put it up high otherwise I think we would have a very dirty tank with overfed fish.

Molly at 8 Months

Miss Molly was 8 months the other day, can you believe it. Now that she's older she sits up much better but is much more difficult to get to sit still with her props as you'll see.

Firsts

These past two and a half weeks have provided many firsts for Matthew and Molly. Many of them are in pictures below, but I couldn't get everything. Molly now has two teeth in the front bottom of her mouth. They both just popped up all of a sudden together. She is also pretty much crawling. She does it in her own unique way but she gets from one place to another. This has become a little upsetting to Matthew because now she can get his toys. It seems like Miss Molly went from being a little baby to being a bigger baby with teeth, crawling, and much more you'll see below.

Matthew's first trip on a log ride. It had two big dips that he was fine for. He did not like that you got a little wet, I did get him on it twice though.

First time playing miniature golf for Matthew. He actually only did one point worse than Bo bo and Nine. We only fibbed on his score a little.
