Newest Yellow Belt

Matthew had his first belt test in karate this past week, and he did awesome.  He passed so he went from a white belt to a yellow belt.  He was so excited he walked out of there and said I am so proud of myself. 

Meet #3

For those of you who have not heard yet we will be welcoming a new member to our family.  This little one is scheduled to arrive December 21st, so we are 3 months along.  Just rounding out the first trimester and praying that I finally feel good.  I haven't felt well in about 9 or 10 weeks, not one single day.  We heard the heartbeat 3 weeks ago and we just had our first ultrasound and testing done.  Matthew was with for both and at the ultrasound he the baby looked like a turtle, bird, and lizard.  He also has come up with a few names, Jingle, Reindeer, and Red Nose (Christmas Baby). 

The ultrasound technician said the baby seemed to have his/her own agenda, he/she would not sit still at all to get any measurements they needed.  From the way I'm feeling and the technicians comment we may have another girl on our hands.

Planetarium

We headed to the Planetarium two weeks ago because it was a free day.  We thought we would give it a try. Matthew seemed to have fun.

New Floors

We got new floors in the living room, dining room, and the three big stairs recently, so we were trapped in the family room and kitchen for 7 hours.  It was a long day, but even after 6 hours they were still getting along and sharing.

 Matthew loves the new floors.  He was quite funny that day.  As the man was showing us the floors he kept telling me what furniture was in the wrong spot, right in front of the man.  Then when Grant got home he told him that the one end table needed to be moved down because it was not covering the heating duct.  That child remembers everything.

 They have a great time
