Matthew's 1st Soccer Class

Here are a few pictures and videos from Matthew's first soccer class. It was so much fun he can't wait to go back again next week. I had a blast, Grant on the other hand kept saying next week he needs to bring a water bottle with more than just water in it. He also said that apparently Matthew did not inherit his athletic genes. I don't know what he expected from a 3 year old. It did make me realize that I don't miss teaching sport classes for kids this age. (We have more hysterical video, but it was taking forever too upload so I will do it later.)

Loves the ball

Listening intently

Eight 3-4 year olds. The coach said next week he is going to bring a helper.

Passing with Daddy.

Grant got a little frustrated because instead of stopping the ball when it was passed to him Matthew thought it was funny to make a tunnel and let the ball go through them. I was amused.

Here he is sitting with his team, obviously they are strategizing.

Sharing the strategy.

Passing with Daddy

This was the coach's attempt at a game. It was hysterical. Matthew for some reason kept running around and yelling boo. You'll be able to hear him in the video. I told Grant I bet the coach never thought he'd have to say, "Matthew stop saying boo and start following the ball." I'm sure he'll have stories when he gets home.

Go Bears!.....Oh Well!

We were there in our Bears gear rooting for them. Unfortunately they lost but we still had fun.

Bobo and Matthew

Being silly

This will be the only cheerleader outfit she wears. No cheerleaders in this family.

The same goes for the pom poms.

See she's not that into is she wants to eat them.

Touchdown!

Molly, Bobo, Matthew

Matthew

Molly

Molly

I unzipped her sleep sack but I did not take her legs out of her sleeper. There are many mornings where we get her out of her crib and she has one leg out or both. Its all that kicking she does. It amazes us how she does this.

She loves the exersaucer

Her pjs say Born to Shop and they came with a littler purse blanket.

The shirt is delicious apparently.

Miss Molly in her zebra outfit. She matches her room.

Hanging Out at Home

Here are a few updates from our house;

Matthew:

-Officially potty trained. He probably was a few weeks ago but I didn't want to jinx it. He wears pull ups only at night and as soon as those are gone we are going to try underwear, keep your fingers crossed.

-He stars soccer this Wednesday. We'll let you know how that goes.

-He still loves Legos and Toy Story. He now also loves Batman, Star Wars and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. We even watch the old Batman shows from the 1960's every night.

-He has an incredible imagination and watching and listening to him play could occupy me for hours.

Molly:

-Loves to talk and has now developed a new cry that sounds like a pterodactyl.

-Rolled over from her back to front.

-Found her feet and constantly tries to get them into her mouth.

-he's an extremely happy baby and will put anything in her mouth.

Both:

Every Tuesday Matthew and Molly take Kindermusik. Matthew has been taking it since 6 months and still loves it. So our Tuesdays are a little hectic. Matthew has class 9;15-10:00 then I run home and get Molly who has class from 10:30 -11:15, Then we go off to speech from 1:00-2:00. So if you need us on a Tuesday call at night.

Here he is with one of his new interests -Star Wars. Although he has not seen the movie yet and probably won't for a while.

This is her Carhart outfit from Farm and Fleet. A mom at Kindermusik was impressed they made baby Carhart.

She loves to smile this way but sucking her lips in. I did this when I was little but I was a little older.

I feel bad that I take so many more pictures of Molly lately, because everything is for her, so I'm trying to make more of my little man too.

Sleeping Babies-ahhh quiet

Matthew are you there?

We camped in the living room.

Molly hung out for a while then headed up to her bed.

I kept joking with Grant that we'd fall asleep and Matthew would go up to our bed. Then we'd be on the floor in sleeping bags like chumps.

Molly Exercising

Molly was in the tub the other day and she cracked me up because she looked like she was doing leg exercises. If you follow the pictures you will notice how her legs are moving. She loves to kick so I guess this isn't surprising. She has also recently discovered her feet. Breathe in 5... and out 5

Leg lifts two at a time, that's hard.

Stretch out the legs

Working one leg at a time.

Who is that adorable baby?

Nine bought this awesome cover up for the tub, that you lay on Molly and she loves the bath.
