Halloween

Halloween was a decent day again this year.  The kids had a great time.  If we went to a house and they weren't home Molly would say, "want more candy."  When it was light out we went trick or treating with Ti ti and Nine.  Then when it was darker we went with Bo bo.

Daddy dressed as Obi Won Kenobi
Great candy at this house I guess
No big theme this year for a few reasons, one different ages different opinions on what to be, second I was not even going to look at how much a maternity costume would cost.

 Two of our pumpkins
 Our third one

She wanted to pose by every decoration I had on the front porch

Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, and Obi Won Kenobi

Molly was a little afraid of Bo bo in the mask so he took it off.  When he came over the other day she had to tell everyone that Bo bo did not have a mask on that day.

School Party

Grant and I were lucky enough to get to hang out at Matthew's Halloween party.  It was so cute watching him with his friends and having fun.  His teacher, Mrs. Karima, said she couldn't believe how quiet he was on Halloween.  I guess he felt he had to behave really well in front of Grant and I.
 Our little Luke Skywalker
One of his friends from last year, he actually asked to have his picture taken with friends this year

They were getting ready to play bingo here.  Matthew was telling his friends how he has played Bingo before, with Miss Amy (his speech teacher).  Yet as Grant and I watched him play he didn't cover up everything the teacher called out.

 Hay ride time
You sit by one of the teachers and you get a blanket.  Grant and I enjoyed the hayride as well.
They got to have a pumpkin when the ride was over, he was quite proud of his big one

One of his new little friends jumped in to a lot of the pictures I took of Matthew, and even asked to have one.
Doing their song before they can eat
The look of concentration on what he should eat next.

Molly's 1st Haircut

Well the mullet is officially gone.  She didn't have her first haircut at Disneyworld like Matthew but she had it on a holiday, Halloween.  She chose a motorcycle to sit on and watched Elmo.  She sat there the whole time like a perfect angel,  I want to know how the hairdresser did that.
 Before pictures of the mullet

She had to chose the biggest thing to sit on, and of course it had no sides.
She sat there the whole time and held the handlebars

All done, she even got a clip for her new bob haircut

See how short it is in the back now

Pre Halloween Fun

We had a lot of fun activities so far this weekend for Halloween.
 Luke Skywalker and Minnie Mouse

 Posing by their names

His pumpkin that he decorated at the Bloomingdale Park District Halloween Happening
She had a great time in the junior gym
A look of determination in her eyes
Trick or treating by the pool with Connor
Playing games Saturday at Bartlett's Halloween celebration
They loved this area because the prizes were Disney stuffed characters
Here they got to race with a gourd on a spoon
Molly barely listened to the directions and took off with that look of determination in her eyes again.

Molly's looks say it all- "Bo bo you want to do what?"
"I just don't know about this."
