Birthday at School

Matthew had his first birthday celebration at school. He got a cool hat, the kids sang to him, and he handed out Treat Bags for the kids. He was excited, especially when there was an extra treat bag for him. At the end of the day he go to hand a treat bag out to each child as they left. He had a great time picking out what to put in the bags. He chose Scooby Doo bags.Molly, Daddy, Matthew

We borrowed Steve's yellow brick road and took some pictures of the kids on it. Matthew loved doing this.

Halloween

Our Wizard of Oz theme this year got many compliments while we were trick or treating. We were told we had the best group costume they had seen. Everyone was impressed we even had a yellow brick road so good job Steve and Barbie for your hard work. We are glad Aunt Renee dressed as a Wicked Witch too because she loves the Wizard of Oz.

Molly got a bag of chips at one of the houses and was quite excited should could snack while trick or treating.

Starting to lose some of his steam, Matthew needed to be carried.

Molly's Post Halloween Fun

Molly loved trick or treating, by the end she knew when they held up a bucket of candy dig in and grab. Here you can see her really enjoying the candy.

We really didn't give her much candy, she just looks like she is having a sugar high.

First School Halloween Party

Matthew had his first school Halloween party today. Of course I volunteered. I must say that having kids really changes you. I hated dressing up for Halloween as I was older and would never go to Halloween parties. But when a 3 year old looks you in the eye and asks you of course you say yes. And you even go to his party that way when it is also the place you work. But we'd do anything for our little guy as you'll see next week with the Halloween posts.

We went on a hayride and then they got to hunt for a pumpkin.

They were supposed to take one pumpkin(not 4 or as many as you could carry).

Waiting in line he seems quite happy with his find.

There was silence in the room the entire time they were eating.
