Soccer is Over

Matthew had his last soccer class last week. For that class the parents played the kids. Matthew had his usual occasional moments of paying attention, but not a lot. Being a goalie is something he seems to excel at, except this day when his own daddy scored on him. I think we may take a break from sports for a while and try some other classes now. He is very proud of this medal he got on the last day of class.

Molly at 6 Months

Molly was 6 months last week and had her check up on Friday. The doctor said again that she is perfect and on target with what she should be doing for her age. She can roll over both ways, sit supported(she's almost ready to sit up on her own), she can stand and bear weight on her legs, transfer toys from one hand to another and shake them. She is a happy baby but is beginning to show some anxiety to strangers if they try to hold her. She is still sleeping great at night but during the day likes to be held. The best bet during the day is to put her in the Jumperoo she'll stay there for a while. She is loving all her food and if had the chance she would steal yours. No teeth yet, but she does have a little more hair.

Randoms

Here are some random pictures of things we have been up to over the past two weeks. The kids got rid of their colds and now they are back again. This time it doesn't really sound like much congestion in Molly's chest and hers is very mild. Matthew has it similar to two weeks ago.

This was at the Northbrook mall, it was a grand reopening of the Lego store there and a master builder was building Buzz Lightyear. The kids all got to help build him by putting together Legos that would make a brick that they used to create Lego Buzz Lightyear.

Matthew had to do at least one of every color. I had a mother come up to me and ask how old he was because he was building the Legos by himself. When I told her 3 she said her son was 3 and a half and still couldn't do it. I later saw her working with her son to get him to build too.

This was Buzz's head made of Legos. We didn't get to see the finished project but he sure did have fun.
